I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to create and hold a space for healing and growth. I work within a collaborative framework to help my clients discover their core strengths and challenges. I support my clients to explore the unconscious dynamics that factor into present-day struggles with relationships, self-esteem, and identity.
It is common in relationships to lose one’s voice, to fear saying “no,” or refrain from expressing one’s true feelings in order to maintain harmony, not be a burden, or protect oneself from disappointment or rejection. This accommodation to others is often at the expense of authenticity. For many, the work of therapy is to rediscover the self that lies beneath these layers of protective adaptation.
I also work with neurodivergent individuals to nurture a positive self-identity and support their self-defined goals. I join with clients to heal from years of chronic invalidation and foster trust in their own lived experience.
